Work Experience

Product Manager at blokestuff.com 2006-2007

Where it all started, I cut my teeth with PPC here, learned some valuable skills. We built blokesstuff.com from 6 orders a day to over 50 at our peak. Working in an extremely competetive market selling consumer electronics.

Digital Marketing Manager at Jigsaw Marketing 2009-2011

I knew how to make websites, I knew how to sell them online. I didn't know how to lead a team until this role. Managing a team of 12 across the full online digital mix we built lead generation platforms for legal services. I still remember the call we received from one client to do less. We had been so successful on launch that they were unable to handle the velocity of the leads.

Marketing Manager at Lexicon Group 2011-2013

After the collapse of Jigsaw, I was fortunate to be headhunted to halp build a new legal services startup. We rocked it, until the law changes took too long to come about and we ran out of funding. I still wonder what if about this role...

Marketing Manager at Cartwright 2013-2016

I don't mean to brag (I do), I revolutionised this commercial vehicle manufacturer from a marketing perspective. Thanks to the innitiatives I impemented we grew the group from the 5th largest commercial bodybuilder in the UK to the number 1. Not to mention the turnover growth, from £79m to £135m in 3 years. All through developing a digital strategy, re-branding the group and aggresively pursuing PR within the industry.

Digital Project Manager as Spotzer 2016-2018

I arrived in Amsterdam without much of a plan. Other than get a job and settle down. Spotzer came along at the perfect time and I was delighted to be involved with them building 1000's of websites for SME's as part of their whitelabeling solution. But I missed being involved in marketing and so it had to sadly end.

Marketing Specialist UK at Lightspeed 2019-2020

I joined Lighspeed to get back on the ladder so to speak and I couldn't have wished for a better opportunity. Sadly, the role required moving back to the UK after a shift in strategy and I'm not sure I'm ready for being outside the European Union.

Head of Growth at Soundsnap 2020-Present

As one door closes another one opens, Soundsnap are the market leader in sound effects. I have been brought on board to accelerate growth and help take the brand to the next level. As well as growing Soundsnap we'll be launching some new platforms shortly. Keep an eye on my socials to find out more!
